A bachelor party is thrown when a man who is about to get married enjoys his last night as a bachelor with his closest friends before getting hitched forever! And the responsibility of throwing bomb bachelors falls upon the shoulders of the best friend or the groom. So if you ever find yourself in the position of throwing one, then this article is totally going to help you out!

The first rule of throwing a bachelors party is not to do anything that the groom is not comfortable doing. Chances are you already know that but it really helps narrow things down between something particular that he really wants to do before he gets married and something he would never do, the same goes for the guests as well. Choosing the guests too is an important part of the planning process. You need to know if it’s going to be a tight close circle of friends and family of the groom or all of his guy friends. Once the list of people invited is locked you are ready to move to the next phase.

Picking a place to do it can be a challenge. But that depends on what kind of party you want to throw. Here are some ideas that you can borrow.

1. Do it Casino Royale Style

James Bond it up and leave nothing! From tuxedos to cognacs, include it all. Make it a classy poker night where there are bets are going up and cigars are being lit up! Show your groom a classy night out before he gets hitched.

2.  All about him!

Well, chances are the groom would be spending a considerable amount of time focusing on his better half, so why not take the opportunity of the bachelor s party and make it all about him. For this, you would need to make a list of all his favorite things and probably start with throwing the party at his favorite getaway. His favorite drink and food can give him the feeling of comfort and be in his zone which is soon to be shared by another one. Also, be sure to pamper his quirks, after all, he too needs to be shown some love!

 3. A camping trip

Want to make the grooms night a little adventurous? Gather up all the guys and head for a short trip into the woods. Go for a hike or rent a resort and barbecue some chicken over some beer and good old bantering! Nothing beats sitting out underneath the star covered sky and your best of friends around.

4. PAAARTY!

Why not paint the town red and go pub hopping with your best buddies and get super wasted? Do hire a limo for the occasion! Crazy party hats and party accessories are a must. The series of pubs can culminate to one surprise destination where you guys can crash and you may have a surprise waiting for the groom –gather up all the old buddies from his school and college and get the real party started!

5. EXTREME Bachelors Party!

Light up the adrenalin and make the party a series of extreme sports. River rafting, mountain climbing or rappelling, skydiving or bungee jumping –anything would do as long as he is not expecting it!

Now that we have covered a few of the party theme ideas, let us look into a few other essentials you must keep in mind:

1. The date and day you pick must be favorable, so that the groom gets ample time to attend to the last minute details for the wedding.

2. Take extra care of who all are invited to the party, for this is supposed to put the groom in his comfort level and not pull him out of it. So keep it to the close circle, so that it becomes even more memorable for the groom.

Pre-plan and ensure the groom need not take care of anything in the party, as chances are this is the only time he would get to let his hair down.

So put on your thinking cap if you are responsible for planning a bachelor s party and think which kind would the groom like the best, and start with the execution already!
